Dr. White is a dual board-certified forensic and anatomic pathologist with advanced training in cardiovascular pathology and more than 12 years of experience as a medical examiner and forensic pathologist across the United States and Canada.

 

He currently serves as a forensic pathologist with the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and as cardiovascular and autopsy pathologist at Toronto General Hospital (UHN). He previously served as Assistant Medical Examiner and Cardiovascular Pathology Consultant at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office in Chicago, one of the busiest medical examiner offices in the United States, and as Lead Forensic Pathologist for the British Columbia Coroners Service.

Dr. White is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and an invited review article. He has delivered and contributed to national and international presentations and presented abstracts on forensic pathology, cardiovascular pathology, sudden death, molecular autopsy (genetic testing after death), and death investigation.

In legal proceedings, Dr. White translates complex autopsy, pathology, and cardiovascular findings into clear, precise language for attorneys, judges, and juries. He draws on extensive experience testifying in both criminal and civil matters across North America for plaintiffs and defendants.
